Mim and Lois joined our friend Dr Phil Grünewald (the man behind the West Oxford Energy Challenge) to speak about community-based climate and energy action in West Oxford. The documentary, made by Oxford Sparks, explores how energy use changed in lockdown, and what we can learn from that.
‘The months of lockdown were difficult. From an energy perspective, however, we were able to learn a lot. In this micro-documentary, Phil explains how our energy-use habits altered during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the impact of these changes on our energy supply. He also explores the energy-use changes that we can make as individuals and communities, so that together we can reach net zero. With special thanks to Dr Jan Rosenow, Mim Saxl, Lois Muddiman and Low Carbon West Oxford. #energy #renewables #NetZero‘
