Our ‘sister’ organisations

Set up in 2009 to build and manage community-owned renewable energy schemes in West Oxford, in order both to generate green electricity and provide a sustainable income stream for further local environmental activities, such as providing long-term funding to support the work of LCWO.

Hogacre Common Eco-Park
A fourteen acre site, set up by LCWO, less than a mile from the centre of Oxford and within its fertile flood plains. Home to a seasonal cafe, fabulous annual Harvest Festival, bee hives, community orchard and OxGrow.
