Richard Curtis (behind love Actually, Notting Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral) has launched a campaign to highlight the link between UK highstreet banks and the fossil fuel industry.  Make My Money Matter calls for people to let their bank know they are not happy for them to finance the fossil fuel industry, and has been launched with a star-signed open letter (Emma Thompson, Stephen Fry…) to politicians and this slightly strange short starring two Game of Throne favourites.  I wish she’d told him he knows nothing, as she’s rather good at that (Game of Thrones in-joke).

The website has a handy section where you can select your bank and pull up and customise a template letter to them, sending it there and then.

You can also do the same for your pension provider.
