Improving your home to use less energy @ Online event

‘Meet’ local people who have made changes big or small to their homes, and explore domestic energy use with experts Saskya Huggins from the Low Carbon Hub and Gary Irvine, freelance home energy assessor.

The event will cover a range of measures, including major ones like heat pumps, mechanical heat recovery, external wall insulation and other types of insulation, and smaller ones like draught proofing, radiators and lighting. We will find out from local home owners what they learnt retrofitting their homes, and what their top tips are. And there will be lots of time for questions.

Hosted by Low Carbon Oxford North and Low Carbon West Oxford, the event is part of a series of events brought to you by Communities for Zero Carbon Oxford, a collective of local environmental groups in the city.

The event will take place online on zoom. Joining instructions will be sent out nearer the time

Part of a series of events this spring, brought to you online by members of the Communities for Zero Carbon. For the full list, see www.lowcarbonwestoxford.org.uk/2021series
