The children at West Oxford Community Primary School are lucky enough to have dedicated school cook Ruth Lyster in charge of their meals, in the school canteen.  We’re thrilled to be supporting Ruth to pilot a cookery course to Year 6 students this year. As well as learning some key kitchen skills and getting some basic, tasty, veggie recipes under their belts, the children have been visiting different shops to buy food for their lessons, learning about food waste, and more. It is early days, but we hope this course will be used as a blueprint and becomes shareable resource for schools elsewhere. Look out for news of farm visits and cookery books in summer 2020. And go Ruth, the kids and community are lucky to have you!

More details coming soon.
