We’re recruiting a Lead Programme Manager

16hrs per week (additional hours possible with additional funding)

Circa £32,000 pro-rata dependant on experience

Low Carbon West Oxford is looking for a confident, creative, engaging and dynamic person to take initiative and lead its carbon cutting work in West Oxford.

We are an award-winning community action group working for net zero and a greener, fairer future community.  We’ve come a long way over the years, developing local carbon reduction projects including; wildlife and nature projects, a biannual Bring and Take (swap shop), Beet the Waste and other events, low carbon food sourcing and cooking for children, the development of resources to help children understand climate change in a constructive way and empower them to act, home energy programmes, a business scorecard and are commencing a cargo bike project. The successful candidate will be able to lead in the initiation, design and management of community carbon cutting projects in West Oxford; engagement of residents; to represent LCWO externally at local, regional and national level and to the media; to fundraise and to undertake day-to-day administration.
