Communications and Project Coordinator

10 hrs per week averaged over a 3 month period
From £13.00 per hour depending on experience

Low Carbon West Oxford is looking for a confident, creative, engaging and dynamic person to take initiative on communications and coordinating its carbon cutting work in West Oxford.

We are an award-winning community action group working for net zero and a greener, fairer future community.  We’ve come a long way over the years, developing  local carbon reduction projects including; community engagement, wildlife and nature projects, Bring and Take (swap shop), Beet the Waste and other events, low carbon food sourcing and cooking for children, development of resources to help children understand climate change in a constructive way and empowering them to act, home energy work and commencing a cargo bike project.

The successful candidate will be able to develop communications, lead on Project Coordination and volunteer recruitment and administration in community carbon cutting projects in West Oxford to draft funding applications and to undertake day to day administration.
