Calendar 2009
The group has produced a calendar featuring pictures of fruit and vegetable from the West Oxford allotments and seasonal recipes.
The photos and recipes have been donated by local residents and any money raised will go towards supporting LCWO local environmental projects.
It is printed on recycled paper using waterless off setting and vegetable based inks, and is on sale for £6 at the Botley Road Allotment Shop (Sundays 10am-12 noon), Tuscan Pots on the Botley Road, and The Jam Factory on Holly Bush Row.
Jam Jar Bank
The group has set up a Jam Jar Bank to encourage people to reuse their jam jars and make jams and chutneys. If you have any jam jars to donate or need jars for jam/chutney/pickle making get in touch on lcwo.hotmail.com
Beehive
We are interested in setting up and running a community beehive and are looking for people with an expertise and/or an interest in the idea.
